Our Story

Kite Addict Colombia is a Colombo–German family business born from a shared passion for the ocean, adventure, and teaching. Our journey began in Cabo de la Vela, where we first started teaching local children to kitesurf—an initiative that sparked lifelong bonds and continues today through the Jouktai Foundation, which supports youth in La Guajira with opportunities in sport and education.
Over the years, we’ve grown into an IKO-certified school with a team of experienced, multilingual instructors. From beginners taking their first ride in Mayapo’s calm waters to advanced riders exploring Punta Gallinas, we welcome kitesurfers from around the world to progress, connect, and explore with us.
Today, Kite Addict Colombia is more than a school: it’s a community where international riders and local culture meet, creating authentic experiences that go far beyond the water.
