Day 01
Riohacha – cabo de la vela
Morning departure from Riohacha across the desert coast. Arrive in Cabo de la Vela for your first kite session. Perfect wind, flat water, and wide beaches await you. Enjoy a magical sunset form Pilón de Azucar and spend the night in a hammock or private room.
Day 02
Cabo de la vela
Full day of kiting and coaching at one of Colombia’s most consistent wind spots. Practice new tricks, explore downwind routes, or simply enjoy the freedom of the desert.
Day 03
Cabo de la Vela – Punta Gallinas
Early in the morning, travel north through dunes and salt flats to reach Punta Gallinas — the northernmost tip of South America. Afternoon kite session in untouched lagoons surrounded by desert cliffs.
Day 04
Punta Gallinas
Experience one of the most unforgettable rides of the trip: a downwinder to La Boquita, gliding along untouched coastline and desert cliffs. Stop for a picnic at Punta Aguja, where turquoise water meets golden sand. Return to camp by boat or 4×4 for a relaxed evening.
Day 05
Punta Gallinas – Riohacha
Early departure through the desert back to Riohacha or Mayapo, arriving mid-morning. Optional extension or transfer available if you’d like to stay longer in La Guajira.

4 Days / 3 Nights – Express Trip
Day 1 – Riohacha → Cabo de la Vela
Morning departure and afternoon kite session in Cabo de la Vela. Sunset at Pilón de Azúcar.
Day 2 – Cabo de la Vela → Punta Gallinas
Travel north across the desert to Punta Gallinas. Afternoon kite session.
Day 3 – Punta Gallinas Downwinder & Picnic
Epic downwinder to La Boquita and picnic at Punta Aguja. Return to camp and enjoy the desert sunset.
Day 4 – Early Return to Riohacha / Mayapo
5:00 a.m. departure back through the desert, arriving mid-morning.
